Expansion & Communication
The SCADAPack Series of controllers are powerful on their own but are also expandable through the Control Microsystems 5000 Series of I/O Expansion and Communication modules. Starting with as few as 11 process I/O points, any SCADAPack controller (except SCADAPack100) can be expanded to over 700 process I/O points, using up to twenty 5000 Series I/O Expansion modules. Communications and connectivity options are also flexible with a range of Modem, Interface and Wireless communication modules including an SDI-12 protocol hardware interface module. SCADAPack Communication Modules For local installations where direct serial communication is problematic, Bluetooth ® technology is now available on select modules, bringing high speed, wireless connectivity to the mix. Bluetooth Wireless Technology Enabled Products To facilitate in the search and selection of appropriate Ethernet-based equipment for use with SCADAPack controllers, Control Microsystems has selected three products from SCADA industry leaders.
